Job summary

Light & Wonder in Marlborough, MA, is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic gaming machines at customer sites. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and ensure proper operation of EGMs and ETGs.

This role requires 21+, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, basic electronics knowledge, and occasional travel to other facilities. The pay ranges from $23-$25/hour with overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and ability to obtain gaming licenses as required.
• 1 year experience in assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices, or 6 months experience with related gaming school certificate, or equivalent.
• Basic troubleshooting to isolate and correct problems down to an assembly level.
• Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming devices.
• Basic understanding of network communication and troubleshooting.
• Capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs regularly.
• Transport heavy equipment using proper moving devices.
• Ability to read Light & Wonder schematics and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on EGM’s, ETG’s, and equipment per Gaming Commission and company standards.
• Ensure proper operations of EGM’s/ETG’s via diagnostics, software settings and functional testing.
• Navigate Management Terminal (MT) to verify EGM status.
• Assemble and prepare accessories for installations per change orders.
• Complete accurate incident reports and maintenance records.
• Maintain detailed daily/weekly tech logs and adhere to Field Service standards.
• Follow safety procedures (vehicle safety, ladder use, electricity).
• Stay current with Field Advisories and eLearning.
• Travel to other facilities within the department as needed.
