Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII), a Dover Corporation segment, seeks a Field Service Representative with experience in industrial automation to install, repair, maintain and test equipment. You will service Markem-Imaje products, resolve field issues, train customers, and collaborate with sales across a designated territory.

Preferred BA in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of mission-critical field service experience.

Qualifications

• BA in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years mission-critical field service experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
• Willing to share knowledge and conduct training to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform general field service repair and maintenance to support Markem-Imaje customers and installed base.
• Resolve field operational issues and perform troubleshooting procedures.
• Determine customer needs and offer recommendations.
• Contribute to business growth through technical involvement and teamwork.
• Installations, training, emergency and routine repairs, and maintenance as directed.
• Determine and recommend which products or services fit customer needs.
• Develop and maintain competency on Markem-Imaje products via training and field exposure.
• Maintain customer satisfaction aligned with quality guidelines and objectives.
• Collaborate with sales for demos, installations, training, courtesy calls and follow-up.
• Work within assigned divisional service territory with defined primary customer base.
