Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Ohio seeks a Field Service Supervisor to lead a field service team and oversee technicians. You will ensure SOPs, KPIs, and Lean Six Sigma programs are followed while driving service quality and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate training, scheduling, and resource allocation, and participate in hiring activities to grow the team. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires an associate's degree and five or more years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements best practices and procedures to enhance business growth.
• Manages service personnel to ensure they meet customer’s expectations and requirements.
• Ensures that every technician has the proper training and certifications to meet the needs of the job.
• Schedules service jobs and assigns personnel to specific jobs and duties.
• Ensures that service personnel are provided the proper equipment and tools needed to perform jobs correctly and safely.
• Ensures the service team adheres to all new SOP’s, KPI’s and Lean Six Sigma programs.
• Assists Manager and/or Account Specialist in customer surveys and is able to review jobs for quotes.
• Participates with Manager in hiring new Field Service Technicians.
• Tracks all training for each technician.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
