Convergint is seeking a full-time Service Specialist to join our dynamic team in Birmingham, AL. You will service and support existing customers by responding to service calls, performing routine maintenance, and contributing to small projects while upholding our culture of excellence.

You should have strong troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of fire alarm and electronic security systems, and a customer-first mindset. Travel locally may be required.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control or security systems.
• Solid technical and/or electronic security systems knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance, and emergency or after-hours service calls.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and debug systems.
• Install projects as necessary and provide accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Perform preventative maintenance on installed systems and assist with small projects.
