Job summary

Rivian Automotive seeks a Parts Advisor to excel in service-location operations, delivering an outstanding internal customer experience. You’ll coordinate with regional specialists, technicians and management, focusing on process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

You will manage warranty and parts logistics, understand Rivian’s BIN system, and support customers with clear, proactive communication while maintaining safety and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and time management.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Willingness to learn Rivian processes.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and execute the warranty return process.
• Explain and execute the shipping process and how to package parts before shipment.
• Understand channel planning and how it works.
• Execute indirect purchasing through Coupa.
• Explain KPI's and metrics and their significance.
• Identify discrepancies in parts procurement and collaborate to improve processes.
• Communicate with technicians and leads to promote clear communication.
• Identify and order correct parts for repairs.
• Source parts assemblies / subassemblies; receive parts and allocate back orders.
• BIN parts and explain Rivian BIN scheme.
• Identify damages, shortages, overages, incorrect parts, and no stock.
• Use SharePoint, Warranty Manual, Write It Right and Rivian systems.
• Perform daily counts and understand the tool’s use.
• Explain pre-pulling parts for upcoming appointments.
• Understand pay types (Goodwill, Customer Pay, Internal).
• Learn Rivian maintenance scheduling and explain services to customers.
