Job summary

Rivian Automotive is hiring a Parts Advisor in California's Bay Area to drive exceptional internal customer service at service locations. You will handle warranty returns, shipping prep, channel planning, and indirect purchasing while collaborating with technicians, specialists, and management.

The role requires a customer-first mindset, strong communication, and attention to detail in a dynamic environment. A 40-hour week with rotating shifts is expected, with full benefits available.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred and willingness to learn Rivian processes.
• Strong communication, organization and time management abilities.
• Patience, empathy and problem-solving mindset in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and execute the warranty return process.
• Explain and manage shipping packaging and channel planning.
• Handle indirect purchasing through Coupa and explain KPIs.
• Identify and resolve common procurement discrepancies with teams.
• Communicate with technicians and leads to ensure clear service delivery.
• Order correct parts and understand assemblies/subassemblies.
• Receive parts, allocate back orders, and maintain BIN accuracy.
• Learn Rivian maintenance scheduling and safety requirements.
• Explain services and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
