Job summary

Rivian seeks a Parts Advisor to enhance internal customer experience at service locations in Southern California. You will collaborate with Regional Parts Specialists, Technicians, Advisors, and local management to support service needs with a customer-first mindset.

The role focuses on parts management, order accuracy, receiving and BINing parts, and resolving shortages while following Rivian's processes and safety guidelines. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Patience, empathy, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
• Energetic, customer-focused with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math to prepare estimates and payments.
• Able to lift up to 85 lbs and operate a forklift if required.
• Must be 21+ and available for 40 hours/week, including weekends.
• 1-2 years in a customer-facing service or inventory management role.
• No driving suspensions in the last 3-5 years.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with technicians and leads to ensure clear customer care.
• Identify and order correct parts for repairs.
• Locate part assemblies and subassemblies.
• Receive parts and manage back orders.
• BIN parts and follow Rivian BIN scheme.
• Identify damages, shortages, and stock issues.
• Fulfill and ship orders with minimal issues.
• Explain purchasing needs and warranty processes.
• Use SharePoint, Warranty Manual, and Rivian systems.
• Understand shipping process and packaging parts.
