Rivian in California is seeking a Parts Advisor to enhance internal customer experience at service locations. You will coordinate with Regional Parts Specialists, Technicians, Advisors and local Management, driving cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

The role demands strong communication, organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and efficient service operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; strong business communication is expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; practice standard business norms.
• Solid organizational and time management skills are required.
• Patience, empathy, attention to detail and problem-solving are essential.
• High energy, customer service focus and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills to prepare and transact estimates and payments.
• Willingness to learn Rivian safety requirements and 5S methodology.
• 2–3 years in a customer-facing service role or inventory/material handling.

Responsibilities

• Execute the warranty return process.
• Explain and manage shipping processes and packaging for parts shipments.
• Understand channel planning and indirect purchasing through Coupa.
• Explain KPI metrics and their significance to stakeholders.
• Identify discrepancies in parts procurement and collaborate to improve processes.
• Communicate effectively with technicians and leads to improve customer care.
• Identify and order correct parts for repairs; navigate parts assemblies.
• BIN parts and explain Rivian BIN scheme; handle damages, shortages, and stock issues.
• Learn Rivian maintenance scheduling and explain services to customers.
• Operate forklift where required and follow Rivian safety requirements.
