Job summary

Aurora is seeking experienced Field Service Representatives with hands-on Sungrow experience to support inverter and BESS focused work across utility-scale and commercial solar sites nationwide. This role is responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Sungrow inverters, PCS units, and associated systems in the field.

Responsibilities include hot and cold commissioning, preventive maintenance, fault diagnostics, HV/MV switching, and training clients and junior

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ field experience with PV inverters or related electrical equipment.
• Sungrow-specific experience strongly preferred or direct hands-on Sungrow field experience in lieu of formal cert.
• Knowledge of DC systems (600V-1500V) and AC systems up to 34.5kV.

Responsibilities

• Perform hot and cold commissioning of Sungrow inverters and PCS/BESS equipment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance including firmware upgrades and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot inverter and BESS faults using Sungrow tools and standard testing equipment.
• Conduct IV curve tracing, insulation resistance testing, polarity checks, and thermal imaging inspections.
