Job summary

Sungrow North America is seeking an Electrical Engineer for BESS to join a dynamic service engineering team. This hybrid/onsite role focuses on field troubleshooting, training, and technical support for solar inverters and energy storage systems in the CA region.

You will interact with customers, lead complex field tasks, and coordinate with R&D for documentation and improvements. Requires strong electrical and safety knowledge, plus excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

4+ years in power electronics related roles or 2+ years with a Bachelor's degree.
Experience with solar inverters, battery storage, or power electronics preferred.
Strong problem solving, communication, and initiative.

Responsibilities

Lead field engineering tasks and interact with customers to explain project scope.
Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems in the field or lab.
Create field service procedures and provide training to customers and staff.
Coordinate with R&D and suppliers to resolve technical issues and improve designs.
