Job summary

Sungrow is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Fresno, CA, supporting commissioning, warranty, and O&M for PV inverters and BESS. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and system upgrades at customer sites or staging facilities.

Responsibilities include pre-commissioning, on-site commissioning, fault analysis, and collaboration with engineering, logistics, and management to meet project goals. Travel is required; strong safety focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• 3+ years in a technical field with field service experience preferred.
• Experience with solar inverters or BESS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test, and maintain solar PV inverters, BESS, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair on-site or at staging yard.
• Assist pre-commissioning and commissioning activities; support LTSA tasks where applicable.
• Coordinate with engineers and customers to ensure safety and project timelines.
• Prepare daily activity and safety reports; lead contractor work when on site.
