Job summary

Videojet Technologies Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver on-site technical service and support for Videojet coding and marking equipment in the Greater Dallas area. This home-based role emphasizes customer satisfaction and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

You will travel regionally, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues, and promote service agreements. Prior experience in field service and strong safety/compliance practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Up to two years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience.
• Basic computer and technical proficiency (email, mobile applications, Microsoft Word)
• Ability to comply with customer safety requirements, PPE standards, and site access policies
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate a company vehicle

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Videojet coding and marking equipment at customer facilities
• Travel throughout the greater Dallas territory to support manufacturing customers, with most work completed during the day and limited overnight travel
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues and deliver effective, timely solutions
• Build strong, trusted relationships with customers by acting as a technical advisor and problem solver
• Support business growth by identifying opportunities to promote service agreements and newer technology solutions
• Travel is primarily regional within the Dallas area and is planned in advance to allow flexibility in managing schedules, routes, and customer visits. Overnight travel is occasional and not routine.
