Job summary

Avante Health Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide frontline technical support for diagnostic imaging equipment. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, calibrating, and verifying performance while traveling to customer sites within a defined territory and working remotely from a home-based location.

Requires an associate degree in a relevant field and 2–4 years of diagnostic imaging or Linac repair experience, with additional multi-OEM/multi-modality skills a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of medical linear accelerator and/or diagnostic imaging troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1-3 additional years of Linac and/or diagnostic imaging field service repair experience preferred.
• Above average troubleshooting knowledge across multi-OEM/multi-modality systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary onsite support engineer for all customers within assigned territory for contract, warranty, and billable service calls.
• Communicate with Service Support to close out new and open calls with detailed follow-up information.
• Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair system failures and provide routine PM services.
• Reload software and replace hardware to maximize equipment performance per OEM specs.
• Generate system sales leads and relay opportunities to the sales team.
• Train and disseminate knowledge about equipment to other staff.
