Job summary

Avante Health Solutions seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide frontline support for diagnostic imaging equipment. You will diagnose, repair, calibrate, and verify performance, travel to client sites (50-75%), and perform preventive maintenance while coordinating with service teams.

You’ll communicate status, handle escalations, and train other staff, contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to ISO:13485 standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in biomedical, electrical/electronics, or computer engineering technology or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of medical linear accelerator and/or diagnostic imaging troubleshooting/repair experience.
• Experience with multi-OEM/multi-modality imaging systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for contract, warranty, and billable service calls.
• Communicate with Service Support to close open calls and relay status.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose/repair imaging systems.
• Travel to customer sites and work remotely from home-based location.
• Train and disseminate knowledge to colleagues.
