Job summary

Avante Health Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide frontline support for diagnostic imaging equipment. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, calibrating, and verifying performance, with travel to customer sites across the assigned territory.

This remote position supports customers without daily office attendance. Ideal candidates will have an associate degree in relevant engineering technology and 2–4 years of related troubleshooting experience, plus willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years of medical linear accelerator/diagnostic imaging troubleshooting and repair required; 1–3 years preferred.
• Travel to customer sites will include 50–75 percent of work.
• Must be willing to travel by all modes of transportation and have a valid driver’s license.
• Work remotely from home-based location.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary onsite support engineer for customers within assigned territory for contract, warranty, and billable service calls.
• Communicate with Service Support to provide follow-up on new and open service calls and close issues.
• Maintain professional communications, represent Avante Health Solutions positively.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate diagnostic imaging equipment per OEM specs.
• Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair systems and perform preventive maintenance.
• Generate system sales leads and share with the sales team.
• Train others and share knowledge about equipment and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
