Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to provide remote and on-site technical support for BD automated dispensing systems across the assigned region, including DoD and DHA facilities. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining proprietary hardware and software while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

You will perform preventive maintenance, installations, calibrations, and documentation, while collaborating with Sales and Implementation teams

Qualifications

1–3 years of combined hardware, software, and IT support experience.
Background checks may be required for access to DoD/DoD facilities.
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication, customer service, and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and travel as required.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and on-site technical support for BD automated dispensing systems.
Respond to work orders within SLAs and prioritize accordingly.
Diagnose and repair hardware and software components with case ownership.
Perform preventive maintenance, installations, calibrations, and repairs.
Document service activities and time logs using approved tools.
Collaborate with Sales and Implementation teams for deployments.
Ensure regulatory compliance and quality in service delivery.
