Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Pyxis dispensing devices. This remote field-based role covers a defined territory with daily on-site service, installation, maintenance and repair at healthcare facilities.

A company vehicle is provided and occasional overnight travel may be required within a 30-mile radius from the base. The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree in Healthcare Technology or 5–7 years of relevant experience, CompTIA A+ and Customer Support Certifications, plus strong

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Healthcare Technology or 5-7 years of equivalent experience.
CompTIA A+ Certification and Customer Support Certification required.
Experience with Windows OS and networking; hardware/software service and repair.

Responsibilities

Provide field service support for BD Pyxis dispensing systems in healthcare facilities.
Perform preventive maintenance, installations, calibrations, repairs and customer training.
Document service activities, manage work orders, and escalate issues as needed.
Maintain company assets and travel within territory; remote troubleshooting as needed.
