Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to lead major/minor installations of video solutions at client sites, including Azure, Linux, or Windows environments as required by the customer. You will develop efficient configurations, evaluate system specs to meet business needs, and train end users on the full video system workflow.

The role requires 3+ years in field service within public safety/IT contexts, travel up to 75%, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in LMR, RF systems, or public safety IT environments.
• Must obtain background clearance for government customers.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and support Motorola Video applications at client sites (Azure, Linux, Windows).
• Develop and implement efficient, cost-effective solutions.
• Evaluate system specifications for business requirements.
• Train end users on end-to-end video system usage.
• Provide expert advice to partners or customers on deployments.
• Generate technical field trip reports and deployment documentation.
• Support IT environments including networking and server maintenance.
