IPG is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain and repair IPG products at customer sites. You will own customer problems through resolution, perform on-site installations, and provide training to end users, ensuring compliance with service agreements.

A strong electronics background and customer-focused approach are essential. The role requires travel, including nights away; promote preventive maintenance programs and report on service activities.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in technology (mechanical/electrical) preferred.
• 3–5 years of related field service experience.
• Broad knowledge of electronics and electromechanical principals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid state driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsabilidades

• Perform on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance on IPG products.
• Provide maintenance support and training to in-house maintenance staff.
• Establish preventive maintenance programs for end users.
• Record faults, report deficiencies, and issue RMAs/work orders.
• Travel to customer sites; operate lifting equipment as needed.
