Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to provide remote and on-site technical support for Pyxis automated dispensing systems across the assigned region, including DoD and DHA facilities. The role ensures compliant service quality, strong customer relationships, and timely troubleshooting and maintenance.

Ideal candidates reside within a 30-mile radius, with daily travel, a company vehicle, and potential overnight travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential in daily customer interactions.
• A valid driver's license is required due to field travel.
• CAC (Common Access Card) eligibility may be needed for government accounts.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems.
• Respond to, evaluate, prioritize, and resolve work orders within service-level expectations.
• Diagnose and repair proprietary hardware and software components.
• Independently troubleshoot complex issues and escalate to Senior/Lead FSEs as needed.
• Support government accounts requiring CAC eligibility.
