Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide remote, field-based service for Pyxis dispensing devices across a designated territory. The role includes on-site service, preventive maintenance, calibrations, and installations, with travel to healthcare facilities and a company vehicle provided.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate Degree or 5–7 years of equivalent experience, CompTIA A+ and Customer Support certifications, and the ability to lift 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree or 5–7 years of equivalent experience with hardware/software/IT support in healthcare tech.
• Must possess CompTIA A+ Certification and Customer Support Certification.
• Ability to lift at least 70 pounds and be on‑call 24x7 in a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service support for BD Pyxis dispensing systems, including on-site service, preventive maintenance, calibration, and installations.
• Manage work orders with proper diagnosis, documentation, and escalation when needed.
• Maintain documentation and secure company assets (vehicles, tools, inventory) and ensure customer satisfaction.
