Job summary

BD is hiring a Field Service Engineer I to provide remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems across the assigned region, including DHA and DoD facilities. The role covers troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining proprietary hardware and software while upholding regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

Based in a territory with daily customer visits, candidates must travel up to 25% overnight as required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 3+ years Field Service or Technical Support experience.
• 1–3 years hardware, software and IT support experience with proprietary and standard apps.
• Ability to obtain access to federal facilities (DoD, DHA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site support for BD automated dispensing systems.
• Respond to, prioritize, and resolve service work orders.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software components with case ownership.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain inventory and proper documentation of service activities.
