Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the Pyxis automated dispensing systems across the assigned region. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hardware and software while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

The role requires traveling to customer locations, with a company vehicle provided and up to 25% overnight travel. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

1–3 years of hardware, software, and IT support experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to obtain required credentials for government facilities if needed.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and on-site technical support for BD automated dispensing systems.
Respond to, evaluate, prioritize, and resolve work orders within service-level expectations.
Diagnose and repair hardware and software components with full case ownership.
Perform preventive maintenance, installations, repairs, and calibrations.
Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and assets.
Document service activities and time logs accurately.
Collaborate with Sales and Implementation teams to support deployments.
