Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to provide remote and on-site support for automated dispensing systems across the West region, including DoD facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain proprietary hardware and software while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, installations, and accurate documentation. The role requires travel, on-call duties, and adherence to safety and MDR requirements.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hardware, software, and IT support experience.
• Background checks and security clearance may be required for access to government facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site support for automated dispensing systems for DHA/DoD.
• Respond to and resolve work orders within SLAs.
• Diagnose and repair hardware/software with full case ownership.
• Escalate complex issues to Senior or Lead FSEs as needed.
• Maintain CAC eligibility for government accounts.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Install, service, calibrate, and repair systems.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and company assets.
• Document service activities and time logs accurately.
• Develop customer relationships through professional communication.
