Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to provide remote and on-site technical support for BD automated dispensing systems across the assigned region, including DoD and DHA facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain proprietary hardware and software while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, installations, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hardware, software, and IT support experience.
• May require background checks and security badges for access to DoD/DHA facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for BD automated dispensing systems.
• Respond to, evaluate, and resolve service work orders within SLAs.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software components with full ownership.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installations, calibrations, and general support.
• Maintain accurate inventory and vehicle/tools; ensure regulatory compliance.
