Job summary

Waters seeks a Field Service Engineer to install and service instrumentation in regulated environments. Travel up to 50% is expected as you support customers and maintain service quality. Strong customer interfacing skills and a background in electronics or engineering are required.

You'll operate under GMP/ISO guidelines, document service activities, and uphold quality standards while contributing to a culture of innovation in life sciences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license and auto-safety standards.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Technical military training.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field.
• Prior Field Service Engineer experience.
• Experience fixing medical device instruments.
• Customer interfacing experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Experience with test equipment such as digital voltmeters and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Install and service instrumentation with minimal supervision per ISO and GMP standards.
• Provide follow-up service to customers after service.
• Ensure service meets customer needs and is satisfactory.
• Maintain car stock inventory, test equipment, and data.
