Waters Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and service analytical instrumentation in a regulated, high-volume testing environment. The role covers servicing Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia, with primary on-site duties and up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, service follow-ups, and documenting activities in GMP-compliant records.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of a High School diploma.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience troubleshooting instruments or components.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license and meet auto safety standards.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 50%.

Aufgaben

• Install and service instrumentation with minimum direct supervision, per ISO and GMP standards.
• Provide follow-up service by calling customers who have recently been provided service.
• Ensure service was complete and satisfactory to the customers' needs.
• Accurately maintain car stock inventory, test equipment, tools, and technical data.
• Complete service documentation per role requirements and GMP.
• Display time management and expense control.
• Maintain expense levels for field service travel and site visits.
• Report quality control and other technical problems to the Service Center and System Support Engineering Manager.
• Maintain and use company vehicle per fleet policy.
• Interface with other departments to resolve customer problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide support to customers that meet BD quality standards at all times.
• Responsible for company-issued credit cards, travel advances, vehicle, trunk stock, and repair parts.
• Represent BD with professional appearance and ethical behavior.
