Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to provide remote and on-site support for BD automated dispensing systems across the DoD and DHA facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hardware and software while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

This role requires 1–3 years of hardware/software/IT support, ability to travel, and an on-call schedule.

Qualifications

1–3 years hardware, software, and IT support experience with proprietary and standard applications.
Background checks and security credentials may be required for access to DoD/DoD facilities.
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, customer service, and documentation abilities.
Willingness to travel and work shifts including on-call time.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems, including DHA/DoD facilities.
Respond to, evaluate, prioritize, and resolve work orders within service-level expectations.
Diagnose and repair proprietary hardware and software components with full case ownership.
Independently troubleshoot complex issues and escalate to Senior/Lead FSEs as needed.
Support government accounts requiring eligibility for a CAC.
