Job summary

BD in Tampa seeks a Field Service Engineer to support the BD Medication Management Solutions automated dispensing systems across the region, including DoD and DHA facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain proprietary hardware and software, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

This field-based role requires travel within the territory, occasional overnight stays, and the ability to work 24/7 on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in STEM required.
• 1–3 years hardware, software and IT support experience.
• Experience with field service or technical support.
• Proficiency with Windows, networking, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to travel domestically and obtain security credentials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for BD automated dispensing systems.
• Respond to and resolve service requests within SLA.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software components with case ownership.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installations, repairs and calibrations.
• Document service activities and time logs accurately.
• Collaborate with Sales and Implementation for deployments.
