Job summary

Waters seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, service and maintain BD LifeSciences equipment at customer sites in clinical and research labs. You will troubleshoot issues, deliver timely repairs, and manage tools and assets while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires in-person collaboration, flexibility for shifts, and driving to client sites across the NJ area. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates degree preferred in electrical, mechanical, or Biomed.
• Must be computer literate with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email tools.
• Able to work independently and in a team; strong customer interfacing skills.
• Willing to work varying shifts, on-call, nights and weekends as needed.
• Valid driving license with good record over the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide service, preventive maintenance, and installations of BD LifeSciences equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot system failures and deliver timely, effective repairs on-site.
• Maintain assets (phone, computer, tablet, tools, inventory parts).
• Build positive relationships with customers and peers; inform customers on repair status.
• Interface with Technical Support to deliver high-level customer support.
