Job summary

Waters is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, maintain, and implement field corrective actions for Life Science equipment at customer sites in clinical and research laboratories. You will report to the District Service Manager and work with district leads to obtain instrument training and field-based on-the-job training for certification on Waters products.

The role requires compliance with Quality, GMP, ISO, and safety regulations, and adherence to travel policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related engineering field.
• Experience with computer networking and computer science concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to use email and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide service, preventive maintenance, modifications and installations of Life Sciences equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot system failures and perform on-site repairs for timely problem resolution.
• Manage company assets including cell phone, computer, tablet, tools, and inventory parts.
• Establish and foster positive relationships with customers and peers.
• Perform administrative duties including recording time worked, training, and expense reporting.
