Job summary

Waters is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair laboratory instruments in customer sites. You will collaborate with customers, document service actions, and manage upgrades to ensure customers receive reliable LC/MS and related systems.

The role requires hands-on electronics and mechatronics skills, travel readiness, and the ability to coordinate with IT and lab leadership for routine software updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical devices (Mechatronics), PLCs, pneumatics.
• Intermediate networking, IT coordination, and software maintenance for labs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs; perform installations, maintenance, upgrades and repairs.
• Lead communications of work performed and follow-up plans.
• Coordinate system upgrades with customers and schedule servicing.
• Document all customer issues in the systems of record for resolution.
