Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a Field Service Specialist II to support our instrumentation and software across customer labs. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and train on Waters’ LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, SFC systems, while building strong customer relationships and ensuring safety and compliance.

Travel for training and service is expected. Requires a BS/BA in a science field and at least 2 years of relevant field service experience; a valid driver's license is mandatory.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of scientific instrumentation.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot at system level and understand scientific workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot Waters product suite (LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, SFC, Informatics).
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with customers.
  • Manage customer expectations and provide follow-up plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Deliver system-level training at customer sites.
  • Manage service inventory per Waters policies.
  • Submit field service reports documenting work performed.
