Job summary

Waters Corporation in Colorado is seeking a Field Service Specialist to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Waters’ LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, and SFC systems at customer sites across diverse industries. You will collaborate with customers to ensure optimal instrument performance and compliance with safety standards.

You will build strong relationships with lab teams, communicate service findings clearly, and identify opportunities to extend service contracts.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry, Biology, engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 2 years of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of scientific instrumentation; Waters experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to troubleshoot system-level workflows and software.
• Willingness to travel overnight, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot Waters instrument suite at customer sites.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships to ensure success.
• Communicate work performed and provide follow-up plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Deliver system-level training and support service contracts opportunities.
• Manage service inventory and submit field service reports daily.
