Job summary

Acuative is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network and technology infrastructure at customer locations in the United States. You will work with a range of equipment and coordinates with remote NOCs and customer teams to complete installations and resolve issues.

The role includes hands-on cabling, testing, and equipment replacement, with opportunities for overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

Associate degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
Strong technical background in IT, networking, or field services.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Install, replace, relocate, rack, stack, mount, and provide Smart Hands support for routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and other hardware.
Perform physical installation and cabling across a variety of platforms, including structured cabling and fixed wireless.
Troubleshoot copper cabling and circuits with test equipment; document circuits and site conditions.
Complete site surveys, maintain the company vehicle and tools, and coordinate with remote engineers and NOCs.
