Job summary

Intuitive Surgical, Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer 2 to install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all Intuitive products within the designated area. You will ensure service agreements and warranties are fulfilled while exceeding customer expectations.

The role requires expertise in electro‑mechanical systems, along with exceptional customer service and communication skills to resolve issues and deliver outstanding support.

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-mechanical systems; field service preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to deliver technical training to customers and staff.
• Proven documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with all department and company policies.
• Provide management with a quarterly review and assessment of your assigned area of responsibility.
• Document service activities, maintain records, and provide reports to stakeholders.
• Complete all administrative tasks in the required time frame.
• Provide technical support to end-users and Intuitive employees.
• Conduct training sessions at Intuitive facilities, training centers, and hospitals.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as inspections, preventive maintenance, updates, recalls, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all Intuitive systems.
