Job summary

Intuitive in Indianapolis seeks a Field Service Engineer 2 to install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all Intuitive products in the territory. You will ensure service agreements and warranties are met, while delivering outstanding customer support and technical expertise.

The role requires electro-mechanical proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to train customers and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-mechanical systems is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to document service activities accurately and timely.
• Willingness to travel within designated area as needed.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and OR protocol is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with all department and company policies.
• Provide management with quarterly review of your area of responsibility.
• Document service activities, maintain records, and provide reports to stakeholders.
• Complete all administrative tasks in the required time frame.
• Provide technical support to end-users and Intuitive employees.
• Conduct training sessions at Intuitive facilities, training centers, and hospitals.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, system inspections, updates, recalls, field actions, upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products and equipment per procedures.
• Coordinate system and hardware delivery and installation.
• Maintain all company-owned assets and assist teams with cross-functional goals.
• Provide feedback to HQ and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Complete required training including Intuitive University courses.
• Manage all aspects of your assigned area of responsibility, including customer relations and install base configurations.
