Job summary

Waters is seeking an Automation Servicer Engineer to service BD Advanced Diagnostics instruments across territories and nationally, often working remotely with substantial travel. Responsibilities include installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will manage equipment, document issues, coordinate with customers, and drive service revenue while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related disciplines.
• Understanding of electronics, electro-mechanical devices (Mechatronics), PLCs, and pneumatics.
• Intermediate knowledge of information systems networking architecture design and setup.
• Intermediate understanding of computer software operating systems and collaborating with IT personnel for upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and repair instruments to meet specifications.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Communicate work performed and provide follow-up plan.
• Collaborate with customers to schedule and complete system upgrades.
