Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services and Systems division is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Early Career Development Program. You will work on electrical power distribution projects, delivering technical solutions to customers across varied environments.

The program includes hands‑on training, mentorship, and regional deployment across the United States. You’ll gain experience in power quality, test equipment, and control design while supporting customers and earning a competitive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum GPA 2.8 overall.
Internship or 3 months technician/maintenance experience with machines or equipment.

Responsibilities

Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
Deliver technical solutions to customers.
Perform complex engineering assignments including design, testing, or process studies.
Display proficiency in: Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, Protection & Control Design.
Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
