Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Service Engineer as part of its Early Career Development Program in the United States. You will gain a strong technical foundation in power distribution, work on diverse customer sites, and learn under seasoned leaders through a structured training curriculum.

This role prepares you for technical and leadership responsibilities, with a company vehicle, toolkit, and career mentorship as part of the benefits, plus opportunities across multiple service branches.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering with graduation before Aug 2027.
Minimum overall GPA 2.8.
Internship/co-op or 3 months technician/maintenance experience.
Eaton will not sponsor CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or related programs.
Must relocate within the United States and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Work on assigned electrical power distribution projects.
Deliver technical solutions to customers in the field.
Perform complex engineering assignments related to equipment, testing, or design.
Demonstrate proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality, and protection & control design.
Generate accurate service reports on work, performance, and warranties.
