Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services and Systems team is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the United States to join its Early Career Development program. You will work on electrical power distribution equipment, delivering technical solutions to customers across diverse environments.

As a new engineer, you’ll receive structured training—classroom, virtual, and on‑the‑job mentoring—preparing you for technical and leadership roles, with opportunities across 32 service branches and a company

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering with graduation before August 2027.
Minimum GPA 2.8 overall.
Minimum of one internship/co-op or 3 months in a technician/maintenance role on machines/vehicles.
Eaton will not sponsor CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or similar visa plans.
Must be willing to relocate within the United States.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
Deliver technical solutions to customers.
Perform complex engineering assignments including design, testing, or process studies.
Display proficiency in Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, Protection & Control Design.
Generate timely service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
