Job summary

Eaton seeks ambitious engineers for its Electrical Engineering Services and Systems Field Service Engineer development program. You will work on electrical distribution projects, delivering technical solutions to customers and gaining hands-on experience in diverse environments.

The program provides structured training, mentorship, and a clear path to leadership roles, with extensive field exposure in multiple service regions and a company vehicle and equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with graduation date before August of 2027
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8
• Minimum of one internship/co‑op experience or an equivalent 3 months of experience in a technician or maintenance role working on or with machines, vehicles or large equipment
• Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment
• Deliver technical solutions to customers
• Perform less conventional complex engineering assignments that may involve equipment or product design, testing of materials, process studies, or research investigations
• Display proficiency in Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting Techniques, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, Protection & Design
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties
