Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services and Systems team seeks a new Field Service Engineer to diagnose and solve power distribution issues for customers. You’ll work across a broad range of equipment and environments, delivering practical, hands-on engineering solutions.

The program emphasizes structured training, mentorship, and leadership development, with opportunities across multiple service branches and a company vehicle, tools, and training to support your growth within the field of power

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with graduation date before August of 2027.
Minimum overall GPA 2.8.
Internship/co‑op or 3 months experience in technician/maintenance role on machines or equipment.
No immigration sponsorship; CPT/OPT/STEM OPT not offered.
Geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
Deliver technical solutions to customers.
Perform complex engineering assignments including testing, design, or process studies.
Display proficiency in Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting Techniques, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, Protection & Control Design.
Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
