Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Service Engineer in a structured Early Career Development Program in the United States. You’ll work on power distribution projects, deliver technical solutions to customers, and gain hands‑on experience across diverse environments.

The program includes training, mentorship, and opportunities for leadership roles. Ideal candidates have an engineering degree with internship experience, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to travel and relocate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution with graduation date before August 2027
• Minimum GPA 2.8
• Minimum of one internship/co‑op or 3 months experience on machines, vehicles or large equipment
• Eaton will not sponsor work visa or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT
• Must relocate within the United States and have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment
• Deliver technical solutions to customers
• Perform complex engineering tasks including design, testing, or studies
• Show proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality measurements, and protection & control design
• Generate timely service reports on work, performance, and warranties
• Support training and mentorship within the program
