Job summary

Haemonetics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Blood Management Centers and Hospitals onsite, installing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading clinical instruments within a defined territory. The role requires up to 75% travel and strong customer-facing technical skills.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (or related degree) and 5–8 years of field service experience with excellent technical writing abilities.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
• 5–8 years of relevant field service experience.
• Strong technical writing abilities and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and ensure customer satisfaction: install, upgrade, repair, and maintain instrument systems in defined territory.
• Provide onsite technical direction and assistance; coordinate new system placements and contract renewals.
• Maintain service parts inventory and complete documentation in SFDC the same day as service.
• Edit, write, and modify Service and Training manuals and SOPs.
• Assist quality team with data collection and timely reporting for performance analysis.
