Job summary

Haemonetics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service Blood Management Centers and Hospitals on-site in defined territory. The role focuses on device installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and base management with up to 75% travel and residency in or near Chicago, IL or Minneapolis, MN.

The candidate should have a BS in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, 5–8 years in repairing or servicing medical devices, and strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5-8 years of relevant field service experience in medical devices.
• Mentorship and training experience.
• IT and/or software troubleshooting experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests; install, upgrade, repair and maintain instrument systems within defined territory.
• Provide on-site guidance and troubleshooting; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate new system placements, upgrades and contract renewals.
• Manage service parts inventory and complete required SFDC documentation the same day as service.
• Edit, write and modify service manuals and SOPs.
