Job summary

Biotage is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to promote core chemistry instruments and consumables for flash chromatography, microwave synthesis, evaporation, and peptide synthesis systems. The role focuses on chemists in pharma, biotech, CRO, academia and government accounts in the Mid-Atlantic region, with remote-based field responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or related field.
• Experience selling scientific equipment is a plus.
• Proven track record in sales and account management.
• Experience with government/grants pricing is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Full sales responsibility for Instruments and related accessories in defined territory.
• Hands-on demonstration of instruments and related products to show business value.
• Manage demo resources and related accessories.
• Ensure customers are trained and deriving maximum benefit from Biotage products.
• Grow consumables sales in defined territory with Inside Sales support.
• Maintain current and identify new customers and provide accurate forecasts.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Qualify leads and document opportunities in Salesforce.
