Job summary

Biolog, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive growth for our instruments, consumables, and anaerobic media across clinical and research markets. You will manage complex sales cycles, deliver technical demonstrations, and build strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in life science or clinical diagnostics sales, expertise in reagent supply agreements, and the ability to navigate public tenders while traveling up to 25% within Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in life sciences, biotechnology, chemistry or related field.
• Proven success in life science/clinical diagnostics sales with targets.
• Experience negotiating reagent supply agreements or long-term contracts.
• Solid understanding of microbiology workflows, lab operations, and diagnostic testing environments.
• Professional English; additional European language (German) preferred.
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles for consumables and capital equipment.
• Familiarity with public procurement and tender processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue through selling anaerobic culture media, reagents, and capital equipment.
• Meet or exceed territory sales targets via direct sales and distributor channels.
• Develop strategic account plans for academic, clinical, industrial, and research labs.
• Lead negotiations for long-term contracts and volume-based purchasing.
• Monitor public tenders and ensure procurement compliance and timelines.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and consultative support.
• Maintain forecasts, CRM records, and territory activity reports.
• Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and events.
