Job summary

BD Interventional is seeking an experienced Outside Sales representative for the Peripheral Intervention unit in Tempe, AZ. You will drive product adoption, build and manage accounts, and deliver comprehensive product education to clinicians and staff.

The role requires strong clinical knowledge, a solid understanding of anatomy, and proven needs-analysis selling. On-site collaboration is emphasized to sustain BD's culture of excellence in healthcare solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years outside sales experience is required.
• Medical device sales experience is preferred.
• 2+ years outside sales experience or equivalent is expected.

Responsibilities

• Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts.
• Informs customers of pricing, backorders, and company policies.
• Executes comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.
• Plans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectively.
• Develops thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data.
• Informs Regional Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity.
• Achieves prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.
• Analyzes customer needs and creates solutions.
• Maintains company automobile and company property.
• Completes and processes BDPI reports including sales summaries and expense reports.
