Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Balancing Sales Specialist to cover North Carolina. You will travel to job sites, meet with customers and contractors, and promote Victaulic’s grooved pipe joining solutions.

The role emphasizes relationship building, deep product knowledge, and collaboration with regional teams to drive sales in the construction/mechanical market. Qualified candidates may have a Bachelor’s degree and prior sales experience with value-added products, PVF, or mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous sales experience with value-added products/services in construction, PVF, or mechanical sales is desirable.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required by territory.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and handle equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Learn Victaulic’s full product line and how our solutions help customers complete projects on time and within budget.
• Master grooved mechanical pipe joining methods and competitive methods to address objections.
• Understand construction cycles and market trends, and identify major projects.
• Develop relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building owners in your territory.
• Partner with Regional Sales Manager to create a business plan with goals and strategies.
• Lead all phases of project pursuit from inception to final commissioning and post-sale follow-up.
• Coordinate with distributors and internal teams to meet customer needs.
• Educate customers on Victaulic product value and conduct site demos and training.
